RISHABH PL96 DC Ground Fault Meter
The RISHABH PL96 DC Ground Fault Meter is a center-zero analog panel instrument intended for use in compatible SCR feeder panel monitoring circuits. It is configured with a dial marking of −100% to 0 to +100% and a basic moving-coil input range of −0.5mA to 0 to +0.5mA DC. The center-zero arrangement allows the pointer to move in either direction from the central reference point according to the polarity and magnitude of the applied DC signal.

Center-Zero Ground Fault Indication
The meter face is graduated from −100% through zero to +100%. Unlike a conventional meter that begins at zero on the left side, the pointer rests at the center of the scale when the monitored input signal is balanced or at its zero reference condition.
A signal of one polarity moves the pointer toward the negative side of the dial, while the opposite polarity moves it toward the positive side. This bidirectional indication helps panel operators observe both the magnitude and polarity of the signal supplied by the associated ground-fault monitoring circuit.
The percentage scale represents the calibrated indication required by the panel system. It should not automatically be interpreted as a direct measurement of leakage current, insulation resistance or fault current unless this relationship is confirmed by the original SCR panel documentation.
±0.5mA DC Basic Movement
The basic meter movement is specified as −0.5mA to 0 to +0.5mA DC. This means the instrument reaches the negative full-scale position when the appropriate −0.5mA DC input is applied and reaches the positive full-scale position at approximately +0.5mA DC, subject to the original calibration and circuit arrangement.
Because this is a low-current analog measuring instrument, it must be connected only to the intended monitoring or transducer circuit. It must not be connected directly to the main feeder power conductors or to an unverified voltage source. Applying an incorrect signal can damage the moving-coil mechanism or cause inaccurate indication.
Application in SCR Feeder Panels

Do not apply mechanical force to the pointer, alter the internal movement or connect the meter to a signal exceeding its rated input. The surrounding ground-fault PCB, wiring and sensing circuit should also be inspected if the original meter failed or displayed an abnormal reading.
